Is it just me or can it be the hardest thing in the world to find the right gift for everyone on your list? Some people are techies and love the newest gadget, some are fashionistas and the latest look will be just right. My list has many people who are nature-lovers. For them, I always try and create something myself as the New York florist that I know they will appreciate. And this year, I'm going to share my secret with you so you can do the same for those on your list.

Winter Wonderland

This bunch of cuties is a great gift for an apartment-dweller who will appreciate New York flowers. I like to stick to the less is more philosophy and just focus on quality to enhance the gift. I take 3 of the most perfect green hydrangea and place each on in a mouth-blown DutZ vase. Then I add some winter-themed twigs or branches to fill out the look. To bring it all together, I use one of the newest DutZ plates, made of glass and all hand-made in Europe as a holder for the three cuties. Some days, I love to just walk through the city and peek in the windows and see all the inspiration that is flowing throughout the city, whether it comes from florist, fashion designers, artists, chefs, and so many others.
